Just got a new AC for my virtual boy and decided to give wario world another run. The only problem is that i get the whole funky image and weird lines of the screne. They say (nintendo) that the system self cleans it's self like the N64. Though i don't know how i could fix this problem. Could i just clean the carts like you guys said about the hucards? How about the cart slot itself?
Yeah, the system is self cleaning... but the problem you're having isn't related to the cart. The problem you're having is the most common problem with VBs. It's caused by the cable attached to the LED bar connecting to the motherboard, usually coming loose from the LED bar PCB (although sometimes the cable is actually damaged, or in nice cases, loose in the socket). The best way to fix it is to open the case up, make sure the cable is in the socket on the motherboard, then try pushing the cable tighter onto the LED bar PCB. You should see the problem go away, and to make sure it stays, I usually put some electrical tape on it.
