Genesis bootlegs?

ok so i recived a call from my buddy yesterday who was at a yardsale and they had the lion king and aladin sealed for the sega for a buck each, so of course i told him to pick them up.

so i picked them up today, and for starters they are both in paper cases, which i am pretty sure i have seen both only with hard cases before, also the art work on the front of the boxes looks kinda crappy, and the way they are sealed , well its not very well done, they also have a big barcodde sticker stuck to the back on top of the plastic, and below the plastic there is a small sticker on both that is stuck to the package, you can feel it was put on there but it says... Published by Ballistic i would love to open them up to see if there are any diffrences, but they are sealed and i cant bring my self to do it..

so i was wondering if anyone knows if these are boots? is there a story behind them? do they carts and manuals look the same as the normal ones? Any details would be awesome because im very very curious now.

Yeah, it sounds just like the majesco rerelease's for games like castlevania bloodline,contra 3 ect..

Yeah, those would be Majesco rereleases. I've got a complete Monopoly in the cardboard box and the cart has a small black sticker on the back where the Sega logo would be. Your carts would probably have those black stickers as well. The labels should look the same as their non-Majesco counterparts. The manuals are printed in black and white.

There are Genesis bootlegs out there, and trust me, they are MUCH more ghetto than what you've found. ;)
