One year ago today I found a boxed copy of Super Mario Bros. 3, and it had such a profound effect on me. It re-ignited my love for games and thrust me into a collecting habit. One year, 625 games, 24 demo discs/cartridges, 14 platforms, thousands of dollars (Probably) and a whole crapload of peripherals and display stuffs later.
I'll have to get the place cleaned to take some pics, but I wanted to remember this date. July 11th. Thought it'd never get here. :D

"golf claps". Yeah i myself drop out of the whole game scene for awhile dering my last couple of years of high school (school,work,metal). Though i'm back on it again for good. Keep at it. :)

July 11th also marks the anniversary of the Retrogaming Roundtable forums. Check it out, we're TWO years old today!

GameCube:
Super Monkey Ball
Soul Calibur II (Brand new, non-Players Choice :D)
BloodRayne
GameCube Preview Disc (From CC for $5. The one, well, only one, with Dr. Mario and Wario Ware tryout. Dr. Mario is nice. More Cube games should come with NES games attached.)
Xbox:
Robotech Battlecry
Exhibition 5 (From CC for $5. Got all 5 now. Am surprised by the total change in package design between the fourth and fifth. Also, no downloadable music.)
PS2:
Oni... might be returning it if it doesn't satisfy my brother's needs.
Plus I've got a Pokémon Box coming in the mail tomorrow. So I'm on my way to maybe pushing this to 1000 by next July. 8-)

When I joined the army I couldn't really store a lot of my shit so a lot of things had to go, I sold all of my games and consoles and had a huge party with the dough. Now I'm out and I'm trying to rebuild my collection, slowly but surely.

Congrats on being with the hobby for a year. You gained alot of stuff in a year. I have been collecting for almost 4 years now, since im 11. :D

July 11th is ALSO 7/11...or 7-11... where I used to play quite a few arcade cabs... another coincidence? I think NOT! :)
