I'm not a collector, but since I started gaming back in the so called 'classic era', I love to read up on old systems and play old games when I can (mostly thru the magic of emulators). And I've spent enough time here to know that some systems and games were heavily pirated.
What I'm curious about is what about OTHER systems and games? I know that the Famicom/NES has been heavily pirated, in both games and console. Neo-Geo carts seem to be ripped off quite a bit, as well as PS1 and PS2 games. Same goes for Game Boy systems and games. And I've even seen Sega CD and Dreamcast games pirated (although in those cases mostly for the rare titles).
But does any pirate stuff exist for the Super NES, the Collecovision, the Intelivision, or the N64? I would think those systems were popular enough back in the day that at least GAMES if not systems would have been pirated.
And what about systems that may not have done well in one country but did very well somewhere else, like the SMS or the Saturn?
Is there a list anywhere that shows all the systems and games that have been found, beyond what is mentioned in the DP guide?
