Pricematching at stores?

Now, I think it's cool that people are willing to share their receipts for others to use in 'pricematching' at stores like Toys R Us, but what are the steps that you need to take in order for stores to pricematch the items?

usually EB doesnt ask for proof, but then again there my friends there so that could be why ...
