I just want to make people aware of my auction for the Donkey Kong Country Competition Cart from the Blockbuster Championship 2. It is mint with box.
Here it is (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8117986240&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)
It is listed on this site as one of the rarest SNES games, so I figured you would be the people who are interested.
Thanks.

There are 4 pictures on the Ebay auction, in the link in my first post.
I already got offers on Ebay for $190 and $250 if I end the auction early, butr I declined as selling it on Ebay was my bros. decision and he wants to wait it out. So, if you want this, you have to bid on ebay for it.
(Here are the images if linking to Ebay is allowed)

Good for your brother, because those offers were lowballing for sure.

That's good to hear. I had no idea what kind of profit to expect from this game. One guy on the Penny-Arcade forums, where I frequent said he was giving me a "generous offer of $100", but I didn't really trust that.
I'm excited to get a good deal on a game that my Mom bought me for Christmas years ago, god knows why. I don't even know how she could have heard about it!

Yeah... many, MANY forums on the net are chock full of lowballers. The Next Level is a big offender as well. Here, it's not too bad at all.
Now here's something you may have not expected: I'll give you $40 for the insert in the case - the piece of paper in the case. Odd? You bet, but I have the game, and the green case - no insert. *shrug*

That is unexpected, but I am already selling it as complete so I can't do that.
Very interesting though haha.

Yeah, good luck with your auction! I'd be all over that as well if I didn't buy mine a couple of weeks ago. Like Dave, I'd like that box too. :D

Complete like that and looking in good condition, I'd expect it to make $300 if not $400 at end...

I don't know if I'd call $250 "lowballing"...
I just won one of these, similarly mint in the same box for $255.

I got mine for $250 a year ago and a month later it went for $335 without the box and another one for $250 that was chewed up and had no box a week after that. So it depends. There have been two for sale in the last month and both went for about $250 but one had the box and the other did not.

Hey... i think people are getting carried away with $300 and $400.. Like Joe mentioned the last boxed DKC-CC went for $255
( I bet some kid that never played a videogame in his life won that auction :P )
:embarrassed: And i wouldn't call $190 lowballing.. gee's, people can make another ebayer an offer can't they! LOL :embarrassed:
Plus the reserve has been meet and it's only up to $152.65 ;)

Like V1rich Just mentioned it goes for all kinds of different prices, But one thing i'm sure about i won't pay $250 for a chewed up copy! that ebayer was crazy!.. i think it all depends on the ebayers (bidding / watching), and how bad they want it! At the particular time.. @_@

I would have let Joe go on that game just because and I think that might be what happened since vader has been wanting a complete one and did not even bid on that one.
And Buffquinn bought the chewed up copy. I think he still has it. He tried to sell it for like $350 several months later but I don't think there were any takers.
If this game goes for less than $220 I will be extremely surprised. Hell I might just throw a bid in there myself if it goes too low.
