That's over $4500 per game. @_@

More than I'd be willing to spend even if were to win Powerball.

"The original purchase price was over $300,000."

Holy Shnikeys! That's an average of over $9,000 per game!!!

Don't get me wrong, there are some nice games there, but new prices are not the same as used prices.

One of his games is a Crazy Taxi. Here's one on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13716&item=6106776878&rd=1), opening price of $3,499, ended with no bids.

Another game he had was Top Skater. Here's one, (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=187&item=8117602088&rd=1), $900, no reserve.

I don't know what some of those are worth -- I'm sure they were expensive new, but it'll be tough to get that out of them now.

What about trying to see if a major place like Funspot or Dave and Busters might be interested in some of the stuff?

Or heck, if he has money, he could get a few more games and open a arcade. Run well and with something else to draw in people (food, bowling, etc.) it could make a profit.

What are the games worth? Well, if I had to estimate, he might get $85-90 thousand for it, but I think $50-60 thousand is more realistic.

My guess is this came from a closed down arcade.
