I had been doing my casual browsing on ebay when I noticed that it seems like the top loader nes systems are going for close to 100 when I remember them going for 50 bucks not to long ago. Anyone know why this is happening?

Because there is no end to the madness in sight. You can find these in the wild all day long if you look enough ;)

I mean I remember when I was thinking of buying a boxed one on ebay because I cant find a complete one in the wild. But I thought the 90 - 100 dollar price tag then ( about 4 - 6 months ago ) was kind of high.
Hell now the freaking loose top loaders are approaching 80 - 90 dollars @_@

To answer your question though. Its all a matter of demand. Unfortuneatly people will pay that much , so thats the trend right now

I know it sucks. I have been looking for a toploader in the wild for awhile. There is no way I spending $70 + on a loose one. My toaster styles nes works fine.

I know when I sold my top loader last year, I had a BIN of $70 plus $10 to ship and it was gone within two minutes. :eek 2:

Kind of amazes me...they do look cool as hell, but I would never pay that kind of money for one. I'm sure I'll find one of those in the wild one day and even then will probably never use it considering it's RF compatible only. My toasters all work flawlessly with RCA output =D.
