Release date is August 5th. PC Gamer gave it a score of 94% in the new issue. And the specs aren't that crazy! If you can run Far Cry you can run this too, only probably not as well.

These are the requirements, according to the most recent issue of PC Gamer:

Minimum:
P4 1.5Ghz CPU (or equivalent).
384MB of RAM.
64MB graphics card.

Lowest supported GPU is a Geforce 4 MX (worse than Geforce 3).
Supported cards:
GF 4 MX.
GF 3.
GF 4.
GF FX (and higher).
Radeon 8500s, 9000s and higher.

They themselves recommend:
2Ghz CPU.
512MB RAM.
Radeon 9800.
5-channel sound card and speakers.

Well I think that I would definitely want to play a demo of this game before I bought it, since my computer is not much better than the minimum specs.

Typing the word "minimum" on a keyboard is fun. Try it a few times. Minimum. Minimum. Minimum.

im pretty excited about the xbox version of this game....i have gotten away from PC gaming, and at this point i dont have a PC that is up to date enough to run that game

Gamespot also said in their latest "Rumor control" that the rumor that this had gone gold was most likely bogus at this point.
