This weekend, I will be going up to the Twin Cities area (St. Paul, specifically) because my wife needs to take a class up there. This will leave me with a bunch of time to search for games up there. Does anyone know of any good places up there to search for games? Thanks in advance! :-)

I'm not sure the collectors in the area want you to know... :)
I live in a TC suburb (Oakdale) & I've been to a few Goodwills but never found anything...you could also try "Unique" on Rice St.
I'm not a collector per se so I don't look very much...

There's also a Savers about a half-mile away from the unique thrift store right by k-mart.
But both ae pretty much shit now i have'nt found anything at either place for almost a year.

And there's ravens video games a that's a few miles away.
They have good stuff but plan on going there if you dont have a good supply of cash

mark- raven's is on Maryland Ave a mile(?) or so east of 35E (last time I went). It's kind of a little hole-in-the-wall place. I got a few loose Lynx games but their used games weren't so cheap.
There's also Toyriffic on White Bear Ave south of 694 (on Beam). They sold used toys but now it's pretty much games & movies.
And, don't forget Funcoland- nearly every St Paul suburb has one!

gohan- has Savers always "had" games? I thought it was just clothing...

Well, savers doesnt usually have games at least that location but i've gotten a few things there.
I once got a Turbocd And TG-16 with around 30-40 games for 40 bucks.

And i've gotten an atari 600xl there before plus a few common carts but they hardly ever have anything good.
Allough the savers in minneapolis usually has games.

Oh, and right by the Unique thrift-store there are two Pawn shops where they sometimes have good stuff.

Oh, and about Toyriffic, I've noticed too there selling more and more movies but everytime i go there i always get great customer service plus i usually can find at least a few common carts everytime i go there.

Thanks for the help guys! Unfortunately, Some of it I just read right now, since I left for MN on Thursday... Didn't know about Raven's... Goodwills had a lot of Hockey carts... (Should I be surprised? :-) )Toyriffic was pretty cool... stocked up on some missing commons over there.. Checked out Unique, and if anyone is interested, there was a Sega Pico there with a few carts for under $7.... (At least there was on Saturday...) I also found another place called Joko Video games on University & Snelling... they are a bit pricey, but they seemed to have some imports there... Of course Mall of America with their various Funcos and EB's.... We got stuck there on Saturday when the Iowans invaded! (Those from the Twin Cities will know what I am talking about!)

Do you mean when the Hawks beat the piss out of the Goofer?

Yep... then the Iowa fans stormed the field, tore down a goal post, took it for a few laps around the Metrodome, tore it apart, and took it out the exits... It was funny... in the Pioneer Press the next day, a columnist said no big deal... it's not like the Vikings are gonna use it anyway...
