i planned to make custom shelving to hold all of my games and then take a nice pic, so i laid out my games on the floor to measure. well..turns out i have more games than i thought. i just kept finding more. so here are pics of my games, sans small box psx, most of my tg16(only like 15 games), ps2, gc, dreamcast, game boy and most n64...
some of the pictures kinda suck, but i had to stand in the doorway...

i was thinking ill have to use drawers, as there is more floor space than wall space.
no complete collections yet, two away from virtual boy(jack bros and nesters..go figure)...
i just started laying these out about a week ago, as im in the process of moving and everything was boxed up. now i have no access to any games near the back, but typically i just had to dig through 50 boxes of stuff to find what i wanted. lately ive been sticking to ps2 and gc anyway, as i got a lot at the CC sale.
as soon as i get organized spoon..the pm will be there and you can come look!

i knew a guy that worked at best buy in the mid 90s. they had a tails and a mario display and were dumping the entire video game department(thats right, best buy was not going to sell video games anymore). anyway, they took down their displays and gave them to managers or whoever wanted them. this guy i know didnt get mario but got tails, which he then gave to another guy i know who had it displayed in his store for a while(hence the broken tuft of hair, which i have to glue back on). he decided to sell it because it was getting beat up and he didnt really have room for it at home, so i agreed to buy it. tails cost me $80, but i bet i could sell it for more to someone if i fixed it. but i bet theyd have to pick it up cuz its huge and shipping would be ridiculous.

pfft thats not THAT impressive. I still see an inch of flooring :P
Seriously, I dig it, especially your Saturn collection.
About your NES shelf....is that one of those "soothing sounds" type instore display/demo unit? Target used to have something like that anyway. If so, how did you manage to acquire it?

i went to a garage sale and saw that thing sitting in the back, playing "Dolphin Melodies" or soemthing, and asked the guy how much iot was...he apparently worked at or owned a store that stopped carrying these things..probably from lack of sales. anyway i got the shlef for $25 and the CD player that hooks up to it, along with the BONUS free soothing sounds demo! gave the girlfried the cd player, the shelf works great for NES games. i planned to get into an old nintendo power and put a three page map or ad in the space where the demo panel is, but havent done it yet. i also thought it would be cool to make my own cd thatll play different songs when you hit the different demo buttons. it wouldnt be that hard, but im kinda lazy...
as for the scrooge mcduck thing, i think id hit my head on the floor. be like diving into a kiddie pool. but im working on it....

Man....this would be a site to see, I can't even fathom what it looks like up close. How long have you collected? Do you do lots of routine thrifting/yard saleing ect?
