I'm sure this has been asked in the past, but I forgot and I'm curious again.

Does anyone here have a complete (w/boxes, instructions, etc) NES US releases collection, or know of anyone who has one? Any pics available? I started working on mine (very, very slowly) awhile ago, and I decided that I'm going to go for complete.

I don't know if anyone has a complete NES colelction, to be honest. If there is, then wow. It's such a huge undertaking just coming up with a list of games, then you have to define complete, like "Do you have to have the Sachen releases to count?" or whatever.

Good luck to ya, unless you're extremely devoted it's going to take QUITE some time.

There are many people on this forum that have less than 50 carts to go (myself included if you are talking loose carts and no Sachens). I haven't heard of anyone getting every US release complete (w/box, manual, and maps, where applicable) plus the NWC. That's what I'm shooting for.

It's curious, then, how the preface for the NES section in the DP guide said that several people HAVE assembled a complete US collection. :hmm:

I am 180 away from a complete cart collection (not including sachens). 300 of mine are complete...plus about 40 of those needing instructions and what not. Getting to this point has taken me a little over 5 years now. I just recenetly (in the past year) decided to go for complete games and seems to be going quite smoothly. Getting down to it though obtaining a complete stadium events, myriad, bbb, hot slots and peek a boo is going to be quite spendy (that is if i can find them at all). All i can say is goodluck and I hope you have lots of space to store your games (don't stack the boxes, it ruins them) :) .

it's been done.

One person I can tell you with 100% certainty that has a complete set is Jason Wilson. I've heard of more, but can't think of them off the top of my head.

I am 11 away for a US set(over 400 complete) and if you just count liscenced, then I am three away. Either way, its going to be expensive, but I look at it this way....I am close and I have acquired more than I have ever imagined.

Yeah, I forgot the guy's name but he does have a complete sealed NES set. Portnoyd was telling me about it but meh, I forget.

Also, I think portnoyd is damn close. He has a complete cart collection and a ton of boxes and manuals.
