Collecting : where to start?

After spreading my attention (as well as my money) for my several consoles I decided to focus on one at a time...but where should i start?

-Snes and MegaDrive (only pal)
-Saturn (starting with pal but later on also jap)
-N64(pal and us for some....are there any jap exclusive worth buying?)

My goal isn't to buy every single game but only the ones that are good (from my ill advised subjective point of view). So I come to you in this time of need....where do you think I should begin?

pick what you feel you would get the most enjoyment out of....its pointless to get 100 games for a system if you hate all the games and the system....buy what you like and go from there

If your not going for a complete colection than I say don't focus on a system but focus on games. I say make a list of top games you want to play for all the systems you have and go after that.

Personally, I'd say start with SNES and Mega Drive, as I feel those are two of the greatest systems ever with a very high amount of good games.

I agree. Thats how i started out and they both are great systems with some real cheap gems to be had. Unless you get into some of the japanese megadrive games (contra,yu yu hakkusho). Though most every genesis game can be had cheap.

SNES and Megadrive. I'm not too SNES crazy but I love Sega. And the Megadrive rules.

trust me when i say focusing on one system will not be easy. i tried focusing on genny but didnt work, i ran into so many OTHER good finds...that i couldnt pass up. focus on games man...you can aim for just genny but if your at a flea marker and find like a boxed version of FF 1 you jump on it
