I got this idea a couple minutes ago.

Anyway, i have been wanting to start a Saturn collection, so how is this for a thread idea: I have $400 to make a Saturn collection by the end of the summer. I just want to see how far I get, if my collection becomes respectable. I will bump this thread every week with what i bought that week.

I will be mainly getting this stuff from used gameshops, swap meets, and * sigh* on ebay.

so what do you guys think of this idea?

first bump will be Monday!

Not a bad idea at all. I will check in on the thread to see how far you get. Just remember that it doesn't have to be rare to be good.

Seems like a good idea to me :D

Get a JAP saturn, the Xmen vs Streetfighter RAM pack, Sonic Jam JAP, Shining Force III U.S, Panzer Zwei U.S, Sega rally JAP and a Nights 3D pad set and you're off.. (Of course there's always Radiant silvergun, Metal slug, Dungeons & Dragons collection and Panzer Saga but those will put you way beyond $400)

Its a great idea and a great system. If you are getting into the saturn you most definitely need to begin importing for it, its where all the best games are!

I've got a bunch of extra saturn games for sale to help you get started too :D

I got : 1 US Saturn, losse with 1 controller= $30
Guardain Heroes, near mint to mint= $30

Good start. Those are both some choice titles and good deals at that. Of course cheaper games will make your collection go farther so here are some great games that can be found for less than $5

In the Hunt
Bust A Move 2
Daytona USA
Sega Rally Championship

This might be helpfull too
