Monster Hunter

Ok, I saw this game about a month or two ago and havent heard anything new about it? The game looks awesome though. Its an online MMO game where you basically hunt creatures. Anyone hear anything new? Release dates? :hmm:

I am beta testing it right now. It is a lot like Everquest, but very cool. The graphics are great except the blood is really crappy, it looks like flat sheets of red. the controlls are also difficult to use. I may pic it up though, it has potential. Oh they rip off a lot of names of monsters from jurassic park, it should be dinosaur/dragon hunter :)

Is this RPG like? Or is it you going around with your fellow hunters just killing things?

I would say going around killing stuff, you gain points for completing quest, in which you can level up and buy traps, armor, guns and such, to become a more powerfull hunter. It is pretty cool :)

Is it going to be a PS2 release only? Because I dont have a network adapter or anything for my PS2. Oh, and is it going to need the HD for the PS2?

But seems like an awesome game from what ive heard :)

As a beta tester myself, I second that. I don't think I like it as much, but it's still pretty fun.
