It's not a new site, just a new thing being added to the sidebar soon.

You'll see. :)

You may have also heard the that site is moving to a new location. Larry has been working on this, the tricky bit has been transfering the forum database over to the new place.

That won't be a "new" site when it's ready either, just the same place at a much faster speed.

All Sounds good!... :)

I shouldn't mention this, but with the servers and stuff connected to DP, it must cost some $$$, it's non of my business really.

But the servers and the work to keep things running nice and smooth, ain't free..

I appreciate all the "hard" work you guys put in!.. thanks :P

I agree. If we didn't have Digital Press, many of us wouldn't know where to go for all our collecting needs or have any great people to talk to. Digital Press has helped us all and I give my salute to Digital Press, one of the most valued resources on the internet. Thanks DP!

So when DP moves our accounts won't be errased right?

I am positive the plan is to retain the posts and accounts.

Wouldn't it be cool in 8 years time (when DP will be 10 y/o) and be able to look back at posts and threads back in 2OO4' and see what we were all talkin about! O_O All those years ago! X_x

How many millions of posts there could be... :eek 2:

But...it is. Digital Press dates back to 1991. In eight years, Digital Press will be old enough to drink (and drive!). :eek 2:

Agreed.

Joe, is there any sort of "donation account" that we could send a buck or two toward? I'm sure a lot of folks would like to help the cause. Or does the DP Guide and 'zine cover the time you guys invest?

Ah. For a moment there I thought the whole website was being redesigned or restyled. The speeds for the forum usually aren't a problem for me, but I'm sure it's a pain for those with dialup. I'm looking forward to the faster speed.

And I really have to send a couple bucks to get the latest issue of DP. I'm still waiting for that next issue of MASTERminds to show up in the mail...

Oh, wait.

Great! Can't wait! I've had to take about 9 months off from posting because I'm an impatient bastard :)

I think everyone over at BYOAC is getting sick of seeing me post all day, heh.
