ok, so i just got a Saturn and 2 games: Dragon Force and Guardian Heroes.
now, does Guardian Heroes have a save feature? how do you acess it?
Also! everytime i save in Dragon force, it loads maybe once, but next time i turn it off( after saving), it will erase the save. is this normal? do i need the ram cart to save Dragon Force?
thanks alot people!

Guardian Heroes has a save, don't recall how to use it. As for the save erasing, your saves are stored on a battery, pop open the panel in the back, slip it right out and toss it in the trash and go buy a exact voltage replacement. Then you shall be all set. I just ran down to radioshack, that's where I got mine.

Do you know if the battery for the internal memory has been replaced recently? It's a pretty common battery you should be able to buy at most stores that sell watch batteries.

thanks for the reply, i have one more thing to ask:
everytime i turn on the system, i have to tell it what language to play in and the time and date, is this normal? or is it another sound of a busted battery?

That will be the battery causing that. Will be solved upon replacement =D.

after replacing the batery you might, some time down the line want to get one the external memory carts that plug into the slot behind the rom drive they come in 2 or 4 megs either of which should prove ampel for most needs. The system bios will allow you to manage both internal and external memory, you can access it by turning on the system without a cd.

thanks alot people!one way is when you are on the world map - hit start.
the other way is during the Administration mode (where you can see all the stats of your troops, takes place in a castle hall). Select the 'Archive' option

Guardian Heroes automatically saves your data after each level if I remember right.
