I think tynstar showed me that the minute it was put on ebay.
I guess I will have to tell him the word is out. :o

I told him it would not be long before the word was spread =D.

OK, I'm clueless "Genesis-rarity-wise," but I'll assume this is a huge deal. I'll shuffle this thread over to the Ebay Forum, but I'll leave a shadow here in the VG Forum in case the discussion of this item merits a wider audience due to the aforementioned "Genesis-rarity-wise."

Well, I'm assuming that game is the holy grail of genesis collectors. Like stadium events for NES.

Anyone else notice all the rarest games involve exercise and/or learning? LOL

No biggie , if he wants it I guess he will have to outbid some people.

Pretty much yes. There is Outback Joey and something else that I cant seem to think of that are actually hard to find and very sought after.
(and you dont see them on ebay) ;)

Hell, Genny's got a few.

Those Blockbuster tournament carts, and that Miracle Piano system.

Ok, so that's just 2, bleh...

It would be naive to think that something sought after like this wouldn't be in the ebay watch lists of most hardcore collectors, including spelling variations.

But of course. The word was out on the first day. If I had $500 to blow, I would have bid already.

This is going to get ugly quickly when there's a minute left. When this is over, I'll be happy with my loose cart.

Every big neo classic system has a RARE exercise game. NES, Racermate. SNES, Exertainment. Genesis, Heartbeat.

Well it reached my bidding limit. LOL
I don't think tyns going to win it though. Not unless he has $500 lying around.

Well we are doing some contract work I set up for some scratch that would make it very easy to spend 500 if he wanted.

I dont really think that you need this to complete a Genesis collection (IMO)

And if he wanted to spend the money on a ton of other complete games I wouldnt blame him. ;)

All I know is that that auction is going to get crazy at the end. Expect in the last 10 minutes for it to jump $300 at least. Good luck you all I know who are going to bid. ;)

I say it will end over 500...

Yeah I have no use for it. I'm not trying to complete the gen collection.

Oh, the pain!

I wish this thing never turned up to tempt me. Genesis collector? Yup. Sega collector? Yup. Obscure hardware collector? Yup. Obscure Sega Genesis game and hardware? Son of a bit....

As lovely as this would be, I'm going to avoid bidding. I'd love to have one of these someday, but for the $500+ this will sell for, I'll pass. I'd never heard of it when I was younger and it's not much of a happy-fun game, so why bother? Having every Genesis game ever is something I've wanted since middle school, but that's almost entirely for the fun and memories factory. This thing wasn't even on my radar back then. Not worth the investment here. I'd be satisfied with a beat up loose cart anyday for a fraction of that price. There, now that I've talked myself down ;)

*Prepares to drop $100+ on random Genny carts later today*

US $565.55

And that folks is a wrap. Wow, and to think of all the genesis cartridges that could have been bought with all that money. Oh well, I'll probably find this someday anyways with the amount of hunting I do.

Yes I will enjoy it. One less big game I need now. :)

I plan on bringing this to CGE for the museum, so hopefully you can see it there.

Congrats Darth. That is one BIG buy.

Yeah, I really wasn't sure if I wanted to bid, but considering it came with a complete in box system that I've never seen, I figured it was worth a shot.

Don't worry though, Marty. I'll still have some $$ left over for the CGE auction. LOL

Thanks Marty!
