Original Metroid or Metroid Zero - which is better?

Secondary Question: Why did they call it Metroid Zero? It makes it sound like the game's a prequel, when it is not. IMHO "Metroid 1 Remake" or "Special Edition" would have made more sense.

Metroid Zero Mission was way more fun...the original Metroid just wasn't very good in comparison to it's sequels and how they've all aged. Plus Zero Mission had the Zillion-esque sequence towards the end :P

well since Metroid Zero Mission, has Metroid NES as a hidden easter egg...I rest my case...I'll go with the first :)
