That stopped me at first too, but then mine was given to me as a gift :)
I've had the book for about 5 months now, and I can't imagine living without it. By far the most valuable resource any collector can have. I'm surprised my spine hasn't fell apart yet.
Plus it works as a nice "I AM HERE" beacon when meeting up with fellow DPers :D

I should probably post some kind of schedule but then again, I'm not a fan of schedules. It's grueling enough going through the six month period prior to launching a new book, let alone having to look ahead to 2 or 3 more of 'em!
The "classic" 7th edition will likely stand as is until late 2005. Though we typically launch new books at CGE I can't foresee getting 8th edition out that quickly. A very likely possibility is that we'll have some kind of an "import-only" guide by CGE next year if not sooner. Depends on how the team feels about digging in again. I've also been toying with the idea of putting that online in PDF format for free.
What I really need is an assistant. Preferably a really hot one. Maybe two. :)

A change of plan then Joe? Because originally the idea was to have the 8th edition sometime early next year... wasn't it?

You're probably right. That's why I don't publish official schedules :)
