Hmmm will Nokia N-Gage be a good investment? It's Lack of games and sales might be a good thing to us collectors in a while... Already ive seen 2nd Hand Games poppin up in the local Gamestation...
It wouldnt be to hard to complete the collection either...

Before i get flamed (If you guys are against N-Gage too...) i jsut wanna say N-Gage is very Underrated, especially by those Idots on the Gamefaqs Board...
I use my N-Gage Mainly for emulation as i can have my NES, Genesis/Megadrive, ZX Spectrum, MSX, Commodore 64 & Gameboy Colour in my Mobile Phone! Good or what? especially for my journeys to art college in the moring! :-P :-P :-P

It would be a good investment if it didn't cost so much.

If you decided to collect for it, I'd grab boxed copies of all the games and maybe one of each phone style.

Ehh I don't know. I would love to buy an n-gage and start collecting but arent ngages still 300? It isn't worth that or even close to it. I would wait for the prices to majorly drop before you start buying them. Otherwise you are going to be kicking yourself in 6 months or so when we are all picking up tons of games from the discount bin and on sale. I would say wait a little untill prices start to go down before you start buying.

N-Gages are in the discount bin already - I got mine with a game fpr 99 Euro. And you can easily fetch games for 10Euros :)

Not in the USA. Though it hasn't crashed as hard as the Euro area.

Well if you guys are collectring it, you better pick up the original model soon. As far as I know, because the QD comes out soon (I think this week), they are going to be recalling the older model. Personally, I think the system had potential, but between the price tag (I already have a phone so the discount doesn't help me), and the fact that I only like 3 out of the 20 or so titles they have, it was never worth it for me.

Has anyone seen the N-gage's carrying case? It's basically a piece of leather what wraps around the phone. A Gamestop that I rarely visit had one for $20 a couple weeks ago.

What do the game cards look like, BTW? Anyone open one? I have a boxed Tomb Raider I got for $7 off eBay but it's still sealed. And I have no intention of opening it.

But I am curious.

I wonder if DS games will come in the same types of cases.

nokia are such idiots, they released the games on multimedia cards.. so all people have done is shove them in their mmc reader on pc and copied the games! Damn nokia you are sooooo stupid!

The N-Gage cards are about the size of a SD card...they're really small. I think the DS cards may be a little bit larger, but I don't know for sure.

i gotta bad feeling we'll never see n-gage go into the bargin bin. it'll just vanish before bottoming out, kinda like the NGPC stuff did. besides theres really not that much n-gage ware around, in my chain shops its already reduced to a small kiosk.

Yeah, I recall before the N-Gage came out that my local EB had a lot out in the store to push it. A full display, signs up, the sales people asking for pre-orders.

It did'nt take long for almost all of that to vanish. :D

Now they are down to one tiny section stuffed into a corner and a sign saying the new model is coming out.

Don't forget about Tiger Electronics' supposed "GameBoy Killer" the "Game.Com".

Now that system is very, very cheap but it now also kind of difficult to find.

It was released in several different models (mostly in different colors).
