i have a quick question about the NGPC. I have played metal slug 2 in the arcade and throughly enjoyed it (spent 60 euros on it in the hotel i was staying at in Mallorca) and decided to buy a aes version. But seing as i could not afford it (Mom and dad will simply not pay 200 pound for me to play games) i decided to pursue a NGPC version since it is cheaper and the games are too..
But.....
I have noticed it has 2 buttons x_x and 3 are need for Ms2

One to shoot
One to jump
One to throw nades but how can i with 2 buttons??

Or are there some hidden buttons like the GBA

Thanks very much

Unfortunately, the NGPC Metal Slug games are completely different from the AES/MVS versions. If the game isn't on another console, you may have to either import it or stick with the arcade version.

i am fully aware of that but i live i uk and the only version of ms2 is the atrocious msx unless they are releasing some of the other ms in uk on ps2 unless i pay for MSA and pay a bomb on import fees

:/

My situation for metalslug does not look good at all........

Theres a Metal Slug Collection for PC as well - check Play-Asia.com . Or just get MAME :)

Here's the deal with ms 2 on the NGPC. It is far inferior to the MVS version(of course). And to use grenades you use option to switch between grenades and guns then press B to fire.

Hey! I really like the NGPC Meta Slug 1st and 2nd Mission games. If you want a proper version of the Neo Geo Metal Slug arcade games, your most cost-effective option would be to get an MVS setup and then get the MVS carts. Alternately, you could get an AES with a Phantom-1 converter (or whatever they're called) and play most of the MVS Metal Slug games that way.

If you're a penniless gamer, give MAME a whirl.
