Its really a shame that many of the cool new releases are restricted to people who can afford to go to game conventions across the country. I suppose it's too difficult to sell games on the web anymore. :(

Most titles on sale at CGE and other shows become available after the shows. Some are limited to too few copies, but most releases (esp. from long time vendors and scenesters Atari2600.com) are available to those who ask/pursue.

Note that only the hardcore release misers restrict their sales to 50 and less. Usually, boxed games are senseless to produce less than 200 of, because the cost of the box repro is almost as much as the game cartridge itself.

And if you have friends going to the show, they sometimes can be of assistance.

I suppose it's too difficult to sell games on the web anymore. :(Christ, let's not do THIS again. Every year, at every con or expo, there's some new gadget, game, or gee-gaw that gets released and there's a slew of "I-can't-make-it-so-I'm-screwed" posts.

I *guarantee* you'll be able to buy this - and others - after the Expo ends over the web or through a site or off eBay or whatever. No one's missing out. SO please, let's keep the pity parties to a minimum. (ANd this is not directed at you Griking. Others will be chiming in shortly with their own laments. I'm just sounding off here 'cause you were first.)

I remember that game for the Atari Computers, years ago.

It's really nice to see some good games being released for the 5200.

How is Adventure 2 coming along?
