But it says only works on certian games? Is this true has anyone had anyexperiances? My mobile used these sd cards so would be able to backup data on that and even my pc. Thanks for any help :)

I don't know much about the SD card version.
I use an EMS USB adapter and you can back up saves to your PC with that, too. Interact now makes a similar device now as well. Or, you could just buy another memory card and use it strictly for backup.

While I haven't checked the backs of the GC games that well recently, I'd be surprised if the SD support would be a wide-spread thing elsewhere than in Japan. Even then, the support would prolly cover games by Nintendo only.
That's my guess.

I suggest you should just get Nintendo brand memory cards. Third party Memory cards suck. End of story. Well, maybe not.
I bought a Nyko Memory card, because it was cheap and I needed one. Well a while later, I got Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Didn't work. And to make things worse, it messed up my game saves.
The japanese version of Animal Crossing was the only game to support that card system a few months ago - and not even for savegames but for pictures and stuff.

Sorry, I have to ask -- what's rule #1? :)

Doubutsu no Mori E+, "Animal Crossing E+" is the game. I own it and play it every day, but I forgot to pick that little device up.
I suggest either buying the USB memory card that you can backup saves on your PC with, or buying 2 memory card 251's/1 memory card 1019.

Any memory card that has four digits of saves (1090 for example) has a possability of failing in the Gamecube. Nintendo recently releass a statement stating that even their first party memory card will fail or corrupt certain games because of this. If you read in your Gamecube manual (if you still own it) it mentions this failure in the hardware. It is not that you have cheap, shitty memory cards, it's that the hardware gets confused when there is that many open spaces to save on. The only memory card I have found to not corrupt any of my data that is large, is the black Interac 16MB (I think it's made by interact, It's black with an I logo on it).
For more info on Memory Card failures concerning the GameCube Hardware, you can download the manuals from http://www.nintendo.com

thanks for all the responces im going to just get the basic nintendo 251 I think but I thought having something like this would justify the money spent on it.
