Can I somehow burn SPC files to a CD and be able to listen?

I would like to move some of my favorite music to my XBox, but I'm not sure what to do... I know that an SPC isn't a common music filetype. What do I need to do to be able to burn these to a CD to copy onto my Xbox?

By SPC I presume you're talking about the SNES audio format. For that you'll have to use Winamp with the SPC plugin installed, goto Preferences, Plug-Ins, Output and configure the Nullsoft Disk Writer plugin. In essence, you'll be converting each SPC file you play this way into WAVs which can be then burned to audio disks.

Be sure to disable the loop function before you start playing files though because those WAVs get really big really fast.

Sorry for bumping this old topic, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn off looping in winamp. I've tried everything I could think of. I can turn off repeating, but that doesn't seem to do anything, as the song is still ridiculously long (over 20 minutes!). Thanks! :)

I use Winamp 2.7 and the SNESamp plugin, no problems with repeating for me.

Now is the song itself 20 minutes long? Little you can do about that, other than take the 20 minute wav dump and edit it in another program. You must be trying to rip the final battle song from FFIII. ;)

Meridian Advance also rips SPCs to wav, but in real time, so that may be a pain for you. That's what I use though, I'm a glutton for punishment. :P
