This site looks like it shas some informed people on it... I'm trying to find "Astra Superstars" and "Crows" )not The Crwo) for the import Saturn, but the prices are always extreme. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy Saturn games?
Thanks

Well, this certainly isn't everywhere, but here in good ol Wisconsin, there's a few Movies/Games/Tapes/Everything used stores, and sometimes they carry imports. But, YMMV obviously. I guess, look around for some used video game shops, that aren't your typical Gamestop or EB.
http://www.buyritegames.com/ - Buy Rite games sells import games, and alot of them. Sometimes overpriced, sometimes not. But usually overpriced. Take a gander at that web site though.
Try McVans.com. They have some Saturn stuff. If you live by or in NYC you can try J N L Games or Multimedia 1.0. Hope this helps!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN LOOK AT BUY-RITE. They're the biggest game store scammers on the web. Nothing but lies and scamming. Avoid even going to their site.
IF you want to go to a site, go to the ones Funk Buddy recommended. I only have a handful of import Saturn games in stock right now, and I certainly dont' have a spare Crows. However. I think Neo Bomberman has one.... here's his site: http://www.castleofcollectibles.com/museum/museum.html
He can get stuff...he's in Japan for a bit longer. Good luck!

Yes as spare Crows would be great! It was on eBay a little while back and I know the guy who won it. I was in the running until it got past $80, then I had to forget it for now. It only went for $90 + and that's not the $300 + that Psychic Killer Taroumaru goes for. @_@

avoid at all costs, you will be lucky to get your items, most likely a scratched up loose disk.
well, if you live in the Washington DC area, there is a chain called Starland Videogames ( www.estarland.com) They have many older games and systems, imports, and do modding work.

Most of the online stores like Video Game Depot prices are too high. You can generally get stuff much cheaper elsewhere. Some of the private dealers like Wolfgames have good service but you can get most of the same games much cheaper on Ebay. Unless you really want a title that bad I would just stick to Ebay and check the buy sell trade posts like on this message board.
As for Crows I owned it like 4 years ago and it's barely worth $15.00 in my opinion. I would aviod it at all costs unless you really want it for some reason. It's really a crappy super deformed beat em up.

Never bought from Buy Rite before, but now I know, they are not ones to be dealing with.
Good to know indeed.

The only specifically UK import shop I know of online is www.videogameimports.com ... but their prices tend to be pretty steep. Mind you, it is possible to sometimes find a decent deal there. It does take some effort and/or luck though!

There's also Raven but I don't remember if there prices were much better than videogame imports.

Someone from here recommended this guy a few months back:

He is indeed good to deal with, I had been searching for the Sat version of Wipeout XL for a while and ended up getting it from him (BTW it turns out the Saturn version stinks).
I used to spreak up for Buy Rite in spite of all the horror stories; I had good experiences with their waiting lists, getting SFZero 3, DC Ikaruga, and a couple others on release day (I swear I got my Ikaruga before anyone else).
BUT THEN, earlier this year I ordered import wireless controllers for the PS2 and they took a good six weeks to show up on my doorstep (so long it wasn't my doorstep anymore...I had moved). I know six weeks used to be a sort of standard mail order delivery time, but not in this day...and their responses to my e-mails were, let's say, generic.
Also, Buy Rite is infamous for listing games they don't actually have...bear in mind, except for the case of the wireless controllers, my purchases with them were all pre-orders for highly anticipated releases.

Mcvans is good for new/sealed games but fairly overpriced. Importgamesjapan is a very good site also. The owner (macross126) lives in japan and will hunt down any game you ask for if you email him. Also videogamedepot has a search for rarer and import games. :)

Ah yes, Crows.
I'm the guy Funk Buddy was making a reference to. I won it for $98 shipped, and I must say it's not worth the high price tag it goes for. Neither does a game like Radiant Silvergun, but at least that's a grade-A quality game. Crows, on the other hand, is really like... a 6/10 title.

So that means when you want to sell it... I get first dibs right?!? :D

I only paid about $30.00 for mine. :D
