Any as long as sega would be willing to make a new one (which i doubt). Seeing as how sammy basically "owns" sega now they would most likely have the say on it.

Xbox. More power = better game. If only by a little bit.

This game will never be created. Now since that's out of the way, XBOX.

Gamecube, but it would be interesting to see how it runs on the DS or PSP.

oh please you have to be kidding me.the xbox maybe gamecube for sure.and the xbox controller would just be to big and bulky for a game that only uses two triggers 2 buttins and analog.the gamecube would be the obvious choice, why you might ask,il tell you.well the controler would be great for the game using to big analog for the main movemnet and the small for new camera movemet maybe.two triggers are good for it and,the big b or a button i forgot what its called would be perfect for the spinng move (forgot the name too).and the graphics on the gamecube will be a great choice as for grachips are pretty great.Obvious choice..... Gamecube not because i like the console but becuase i like the idea of nights on the console :D

Gamecube all the way. Sonic Team seems to prefer the Gamecube to all other consoles. They developed Billy Hatcher specifically for GC and developed Sonic Heros to run on Gamecube as well. Graphically, SH was best on GC. GC all the way!!

THE ONE, THE ONLY- RCM

From EGM March 2004
Will Nights Fly Again?
an interview with Takashi Iizuka of Sonic Team

"I know that there are very strong, loyal Nights fans out there," says Iizuka " I promise that as long as I'm with Sega, I will create Nights again...the more I hear from the fans about their love for the game, the more reasons I have to consider it as my next project"

sounds good to me :)

I also have to go with the Cube for no other reason other than it's my favorite controller

I'm with classicb on the controller, GC is the best! And I can't see NiGHTS on any other system than GC

naw not serious but it would be cook if a company invested in the idea and it happend.I mean wouldnt it be cool to see the saturn reincarnated and have the best agem ever on it and its fame would be better than ever?just think the console that will never die... :D

LOL the saturn was a great system but most people abbandoned it long ago. Sales would be terrible.

I vote for the cube, the simpiler controlls would work well with the simple controller.

Interesting. Considering he said the exact opposite not too much earlier. Ah well, whatever. I doubt the revival of nights still anytime soon.

GameCube. It just seems fitting.

Sad it may never be. Before the buyout, the original programmer mentioned the more people ask for it, the more he wants to do it. But now with Sammy.. I just don't see it.

Anyway.. I still haven't bought the Saturn one yet.. What the hell am I waiting for?? I dunno!

I voted for Xbox, but I don't see what would be wrong with all three.

No, no, no, no, no. Nights is one of those games where a sequel would only tarnish what has gone before.
Just leave it (& Xmas Nights) as the near-perfect gaming experience they already are.

Having said that, GC all the way ;)

id say GC , but xbox would be good too because of the controller setup...UNLESSSSSS they made another sweet 3D controller ...mmm that would rock....mmmmm 3D ....controller... :-P

I haven't tried this personally, but wouldn't a Saturn-to-Xbox controller converter like Magic Box allow you to use the Saturn 3D controller on the Xbox?

If so, I'd go with Xbox - simply because you could have some online element, be it content, scoring leaderboards, or some kind of head-to-head play (it is a sequel, after all).

can anyone tell me why the nights 3d controller cable could be taken off of it?

I want it to go to all three so everyone can play it. Why be greedy and let one specific system have it?

I would have to go for the 'Cube as well. I don't really know why (other than the controller) it just seems like the most natural machine for it to me. The PS2 would be the worst for me - rubbish analogue controller would spoil it for me.

Just had a thought - the DS! It could be pretty interesting to play it with the stylus. I think the game could work really well on that machine even if they only did a remake....(hint, hint Sega :-P )

this is wishful thinking but wouldn't it be cool if Sega had a special controller packaged with it.

Yeah.. I know that would never happen. I'm just desprate for something Sega other than games.
