I got a PCE some time ago, and I know practically nothing about the system and have trouble getting it to work. The PCE itself seems to work, as I get a very distorted picture on my TV card on the PC (as I don't have a NTSC tuner). Now I also got this interface unit and the CDROM² - I know by now that I need a systemcard to get CDROM games to work, but my question is, if the HuCard games work when the PCE is inserted into the interface unit? As I've been unable to get a picture via the composite out when I insert a HuCard. I can hear CD-sound though when I put a CDROM game in the unit and press play. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks :)

If I understand this properly, what you're asking is if the PCE works with huCards while inserted into the Japanese unit with the CD-ROM2 (ie the briefcase). To answer that, yes, it is supposed to, as the interface unit is supposed to allow you to play both huCards and CD-ROM games (with a system card). To me it sounds like there's a video output problem with your PC Engine. It sounds like something is wrong with the system itself, not the interface unit or the CD-ROM.

Hmm, ok, I'll get a Lifeview TV Walker soon which has a universal tuner, so I should be able to test if the RF output of the PCE works correctly (when it's not connected to the interface unit). That still doesn't sound good though D:

I know the PCE R/F doesn't work on a US TV. You need an A/V cable, or you can tap the expansion port for Composite video.

OK ... I've got another question, I guess an Arcade Duo card doesn't work on the original PCE?

Correct. If you want to play Arcade card games on a PC Engine you need both the CD add on as well as the Arcade Card Pro.

Ok, now I need to find the correct systemcard :/
Anyway, here's another question for you :P The PCE included a 75 to 300 Ohm antenna (?) converter, what's it used for exactly and how do you use it?
