Just wondering if anyone can tell me more info about the NES 3D glasses, maybe a pic and a list of games that took advantage of it. Also was it released in any PAL regions coz I have an Australian (PAL/Mattel) NES and would love to try it out. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, there are no NES 3D glasses. I think Rad Racer came with some paper 3D glasses. Could that be what you're thinking about?

Hmm I guess that's what it is then. Damm I was getting excited :( Is it worth getting the paper 3D glasses....im guessing the game would be in red and blue?

Nintendo released a set of 3D glasses in Japan for the famicom. I just sent mine to San Jose for the CGE museum. If you're coming to the show look for them there. Otherwise maybe someone can take a pic.

Yep. They were Japan -only. Very similar technology to the Sega SMS 3d glasses, I understand.

2 NES games had the ability to play them in both normal and '3-D' mode -- Rad Racer and World Runner, both games made by Square and released by Nintendo early in the system's life.

But I think only Rad Racer had the glasses.

But I think only Rad Racer had the glasses. 3-d world runner was actually released by acclaim.

I have a Rad racer with the glasses, they are plastic (soft bendeble rubber like) with the Blue and red lenses, not paper....

Also Orb 3D had some but the one I have didnt come with glasses (I bought it used) I am not sure if they were paper or plactic

I can tell you that it is a pretty useless feature in Rad Racer.
