Why I love Capcom

Why do I love Capcom, you ask? Well, they created my personal favorite game sereis of all time, Mega man! Also, Capcom, as a company, simply doesn't get the respect it deserves. Capcom is often bashed for "rehashing" it's games in their sequels, and not doing enough to improve on each game. Well, sure , most of the Mega man games play similarly, but they're all great games, and I have yet to play a mega man game I didn't like. I'll continue to support capcom as long as I live! :)

Here is why I love Capcom. They created one of the most present games in my early gaming childhood, Megaman. A blue robot without any powerups whose arm changes into a blaster. How freaking cool is that? They also MADE the survival horror genre with the classic Resident Evil. Plus, one of the greatest arcade games of all time, Ghouls 'n Ghosts. They can also make us some really good fighters.

Between SF2 and some of Capcom's other early arcade games (Makamura, Commando, 1942), I will always like them too :)

Capcom while a company that "milks" franchises has made some great games. I particularly like Street Fighter II Turbo, Megaman 2, the Resident Evil Series and Viewtiful Joe :)

Gotta love Street Fighter 2010 because it has nothing to do with the rest of the series besides having a character named Ken with blond hair. Its also good to see a company still going after 20+ years in the business.

Actually, did you know that in Japan the game was called simply "2010" and it had NO relation to Street Fighter? The guy in the game wasn't Ken; he was just some random dude made up for that particular game. A very early occurence of Japanese companies changing a game's name for the US in order to cash off on name recognition, before Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Adventure, and such.

Besides the Mega Man games which I've enjoyed immensely, I have to say that Bionic Commando is the reason I like Capcom.
