If it wasn't for Technos beam em ups probably wouldn't of evolved to what they have become. Without Double Dragon we would of probably never of seen games like Guardian Heroes, Panzer Bandits, Streets of Rage, not to mention countless ones from Konami and Capcom. They also made Downtown Nekketsu Monogtari/River City Ransom which added features like buying various stuff to boost your stats, buying and reading books to learn new techniques like the Grand Slam. They also added some story elements which at the time was really never done before. Plus if you don't pay attention to what the boss or gang leaders say you won't know who you have to beat next in order to get into the High School. Technos also made various Sport games. While most of them aren't realistic they added a new level of funness to the genre.
