Just a heads up. Bombastic, the sequel to the PS1 game Devil Dice, is now $4.96 at all Circuit City stores. This wasn't a part of the "$4.99 Sale".

Today I picked up Bombastic ($5), Goblin Commander, Kya, and Maximum Chase (each $10). Bombastic and Goblin Commander were on my maybe-list.

No problem. I have issues of Gamepro, Computer Gaming World (even though I don't play PC games) and Xbox Nation hitting my mailbox for free every month thanks to various contributions and heads ups from DP regulars. The CC sales are just my chance to give back since I'm a little more privy to some information (lists, policies, etc.) than others who don't actually work at these stores (lucky them!). Also, I have no doubt that those who profited (local game store) would love to throw me a mark-up party where I can buy some of the games they hoarded for twice the price! Such class-acts, those chaps.

Also, I found my brief run with Maximum Chase (which I bought when EB had it for $9.99 a few months ago) pretty enjoyable. Reminded me of the old arcade game Lucky & Wild, only you do the driving and shooting at different times instead of all-at-once. A sleeper to be sure.

Geez! My girlfriend like 6 days ago, we went shopping and she pointed out Bombastic to me saying "Man I loved Devil Dice on PS1... always wanted to try Bombastic..."

When I saw this thread I was like :D

I brought the game to our workplace to give it to her as a gift and she flipped. She thought I spent at least 20 bucks on her... :evil:

I also got her Kinetica for $4.99. OH HAPPY DAYS. Haha.

We played Bombastic last night and wow, is it some good 2 player fun! We started at Midnight precisly and before we knew it, it was 1:30 AM!
