I want this title VERY badly for my Xbox..It was supposed to be released this month on the 26th, but was pushed back till August 16th....

Thats pretty cool. I've got the DC import. IS the story really worth caring about?

Xbox is all of a sudden becoming attractive. Magician Lord would REALLY put me over the edge - But I have the AES cart 8-)

They're actually translating all of the story mode and stuff, unlike the horrible PS2 port of the original released as Mobile Light Force 2.

Heh, between all the SNK stuff and all the budget stuff, lots of sprite games are showing up on Xbox. Keep em coming! I wouldn't mind a Magician Lord port...

Smart move by MS. They have already the 'high'tech, cool'-image, and they diversify their image with Metal Slug 3 and now with this game appealing to the frequent gamer and classic gamer. That's why Sony should have taken a Growlanser Generation with a kisshand instead of quibbling and quabbling about it.

R-Type Final, Metal Slug 3, Mega Man Collection, soon Gradius V, Growlanser Generations, the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, Neo Contra, and Shikigami...not bad at all, well, bad for our wallets. :)

BTW, will the game be released under it's original name?

So if that's an actual translation then yes.

Edit: This was actually referring to the post two above asking about the name. And yes, it's getting an American release. I think the Japanese Xbox version has been out for a while.

on xsgames.biz you see a 3 Sept release date for CS2....but its a PS2 release. No mention of an XB release

This game has grown on me. Enough so that I'd pick up a $20 Xbox issue even though I already own it on PS2 and don't own an Xbox.

Are there any B&M stores where you can pre-order it? When I asked about it at EB and Gamestop, they looked at me like I was crazy after they mispronounced the title several times.

Dunno. I emailed them to see what's up with the game. But the only message I got today was a link to a video of Picard flipping out and singing an alphabet song, so XS games are slow at email. >_>

It uses polygon graphics. I'd rather die than let my PS2 handle something with polygons, ;)

Worst come to worst I'll pick up an import version. It'd go nice with the SnS1 and SnS1 Evolution that I got for Xbox.

i just looked on the message board at xs games' website. there is much more interest in 'Castle Shikigami II' than any other game they are doing.

there is also a guy on the site that supposedly works at xs and he keeps saying that it's still coming out on xbox. that would be sweet indeed!

I just checked my pc at work (gamecrazy) and the xbox version of castle shikigami 2 and its there, for $19.99, didnt give a date but its in our system, it also showed castle shikigami, the original for $49.99 o.Ocool.now im going to go to the gamecrazy i go to and see why they told me they didnt have it in there computer.the employee who told me that they didnt have the game listed in there computer has only worked there for a little while,and he always seems to "forget" to give me my mpv card discount(even though i always mention it to him when i checkout) maybe he didnt really look?thanks for posting the update.
