just wondering what people are planing to bring to the swap meet portion of this lovely event?
I have a big ol' box full of stuff.. a boxed vic 20, some handhelds, empty n64 boxes, random games, a few complete intellivison games, two dedicated pong systems and... much more. All i know is that i'm not bringing the stuff home with me.

I'd recommend packing some of your more tradeable items with your other stuff and/or as carry-on. A few games don't take up too much space!
Don't forget that the show will have a room specifically for swapping, so if you DO have a trade box to lug, you can rent a table for $5 (goes to Special Olympics) and set up shop for an hour!

Wow someone beat me to this post. I have NEVER, EVER sold or traded any of my collection off but I will be doing so at CGE.
I will be bringing TONS of Odyssey II carts boxed and loose. I will have two or three TI-994/a's . Probably 1 or 2 RCA's, a quirky but working Game Gear.
Loose Carts for
Colecovision
Atari
Apple
RCA Studio II
TI
Vic-20
Anyone need a broken Lynx II?
Maybe some vintage Mags....and whatever else I might find in my game collection from past 25 years.
If any of this intrests you I've started collecting Atari 7800 and Sega Master System stuff and I will make very reasonable trades. Of course money is nice too. :D

Yeah, I'm not sure I want to lug a big box around but since I live in the area anyone up for some pre-CGE trading? Like meet up in the parking lot and stuff. Well I've got an old Odyssey2w/Voice, Colecovision w/expanders (Turbo is so fun), a Canadian NES + some random games, SNES Magic Key, Game Gear and a complete Mattel Aquarius system. I wouldn't mind paying the $5 its just way easier to unload from one trunk to another. :D

I think it's a good deal too. It's just an hour but if you don't move everything you wanted to move you can always come back. We're doing it on a one-hour-at-a-time basis because we don't want anyone camping in there!
The details are still being ironed out but you can ask anyone at the CGE booth how it will work when you get there. We'll also try to get some details together on this and the Special Olympics auctions on a flyer that will come with the show program.

Is the special olympics auction going to be seperate from the other auction? any details? Can people donate to this auction? I'd like to know more.

Hi Josh,
the Special Olympics auctions will be integrated with the 2-hour auction, with the primary differences being a) you'll know what most of the items are in advance (they'll be announced at the show likely via flyer in the show program) and b) all proceeds go to Special Olympics.
If you're interested in donating an auction item to the charity, please contact us at info@cgexpo.com. Thanks!

Hi guys and gals,
I have a large amount of stuff on my trade list, but can only bring a handful of items on the flight to CGE. Lately I've come into a large amount of rare Atari 2600 items, and I don't specifically collect for it. Check out my trade list and let me know what you'd like me to bring.

I don't really have a lot of amazing stuff, but I've got a few little items to trade/sell. A few NES carts, a couple Genny games, a couple o' SNES games and a Dreamcast game. I know, I know, I'm making everyone's mouths water, but people, just wait... it's all good... ;)

First post. Nice to meet you all.
I will be bringing a great deal of NES cartridges (including a coupla protos) and a fair amount of video-game books, magazines, etc. I am mostly looking for 16-bit games or other books and magazines in trade, although cash wouldn't kill me, either.
