Decided to stop by this video store that was closing down that carried everything from nes on for video games. I ended up finding a copy of The Flintstones The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak for nes for $5, Tecmo Super Bowl 2 (been actually looking for that for awhile) for genesis for $5 and NCAA Basketball 2k3 for gamecube (bought as ebay fodder since it goes for $30+ on there) for $10. Stupid cashier couldn't find the cartridge for Rings of Power otherwise I'd have that finally since someone stole my so I only have the box and book for it.
I updated the header now

Usually we put these up with the dates in the header, so I had trouble finding the thread...
This morning, I scored a copy of Midnight Club Greatest Hits for PS2 for $5 from one yard sale and a Technosource Plug-and-Play game system for $2 from another yard sale. Then, I found a Diddy Kong plush with the tags still attached for 50 cents at my third yard sale.
I'll probably pick up Goblin Commander for the Xbox for $10 from Circuit City before work.

Well, went out garage sale-ing and wasn't looking for game stuff but came up with this:
GBA: Castlevania Harmony of Dissenence: $7
GBC: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe: $5
GBC: Bust a Move Millenium: $5
Then, the great Sega curse fell upon me. I am cursed to buy a Sega system, then sell it, then buy it again. The only system that hasn't been sold is the Saturn because my wife won't let me. Anyway:
Sega Dreamcast w/GTA 2, one controller, power cord but no A/V (forgot to ask): $5
I also found a semi functioning Pac-Man phone. The one that looks like a Pac-Man where you flip his head open to dial and talk? $2.

There's nothing good around St. Louis, so I wouldn't call these finds since I overpaid quite a bit.
For $20 from a store called the Neutral Zone:
Clash at Demonhead
Kickle Cubicle
Snake Rattle n Roll
Whomp-em
Life Force
Tailspin
From goodwill:
How to win at Super Mario Bros $.50
A sealed PS2 copy of Athens 2004 $5.00
Anybody here from the St. Louis area have some suggestions as to where to find deals?

Just bought an analogue pad for the Saturn at a car boot sale for 50p, but there was nothing else there except a Playstation that looked like it had been severley abused in its short life. Now all I need is a copy of Nights. Oh yes, and a Saturn...

Hey Guys!
this is my FIRST trash find EVER. I was walking my dog a few hours ago and on the street was a bunch of trash bags all torn open with shit all over the street. I spotted those black NES cartridge sleeves. The black ones with Nintendo in red lettering on them. I was like oh shit! I stuck them in a bag. I thought perhaps i'd find other video game related things, but this was right outside a cafe and people looked at me like a hobo with my mutt and stuff picking these up. There were 6 of them, one was all crushed up so i didn't take it. But I was able to snag 5 of them.
Anyway, i don't store my NES games in those cases, but im sure some of you do. If you want them i'll send them too you free of charge and shipping (ill ship it out from my job so i dont have to pay for it, and it wont weight much so who cares) so if anyone is looking to get some more NES black plastic sleeves shoot me an email aquariusstarboy@aol.com and they are yours.
I feel bad, I owe someone here 5 bux for a copy of Beats of Rage but I don't remember who it was. if you are reading this and you sent it to me, seriously email me or send me a PM (but i dont check the board all that often so a regular mail would be better) and i'll send you the 5 bux. this is from like 4 months ago tho.

Kmart. Clearanced. Now they're gone. I had those on hold for over a month waiting for the price to drop. Since they were the last ones, there was little chance of them actually dropping in price, since they only drop if one is actually present. And since they were hidden, I feared they'd stay $5 forever and actually, in the computer, they wouldn't exist. So I just happened upon the list of price changes. As I'm looking at it, an employee comes out of the back and says "Get any done on that list?" The actual department manager was off that day, so I took it upon myself to claim the job. Success! The prices got entered. The next day I bought them. I went home happy. Especially the Eternal Darkness. I returned the used copy I got from GameStop months ago because we had it for $10 new. I held it aside.. waited.. and finally. $5.
It pays to actually work at the store.
Remember.. Shop kmart.. Shop K-Mart.
I only have two games left on hold. neither of which I thionk I'll buy. They're still $5. Just came down in price. Mad Dash and Reign of Fire. Are either worth $5? I'd rather let someone else have them, or wait until the next price update. Hoping for $3.
