I'm pretty sure there's no explanation necessary or sufficient. This is unsettling on many levels. And it's things like this that make me glad I bought that Philips USB keyring digital camera.

Ain't nothing greater than teaching redneck kids that by grabbing a mans legs and touching the right buttons on his crotch, you can play a game on his chest.

THIS IS DISTURBING!

This simply confirms my suspicion that professional wrestling is simply gay porn for rednecks.

Note the "enlarged anus" symbol the wrestler is making above his head.

That is indeed a very poorly thought-out toy. That said,

Speaking as a college-educated, straight Bostonian who has been following and enjoying wrestling for its entertainment value over the course of 15+ years, I can safely say that I find your comment completely offensive. It's an incredibly ignorant and misinformed generalization that you're making here. While I appreciate your opinion as much as that of the next person, I can't say that it's anything more than opinion. We're all entitled to enjoy or dislike whatever we want, but it's no one's place to pass such a crude judgement over a diverse group of people. I'm sorry you feel that way, and while you're not alone in your view, your delivery is still a little tasteless. This thread is about a terrible idea for a game, not the blanket classification of wrestling fans.
@Cmosfm - Considering that you're the forum's proudest Barry Manilow fan, you should probably understand more than anyone how misguided and ignorant these kinds of generalizations are. I'm surprised you're making anus comments about something you have no knowledge of. Sad.

I got what I wanted. LOL
I am sorry actually. Thing is, I live in Alberta Canada, which is the Texas of Canada, so to speak. I meet a lot of wrestling fans on a day to day basis, and without exception they are boorish, ignorant, and seem to exhibit very little taste in general.
Your thoughtful and respectful rebuttal to my blatant generalization proves that you are not what I crudely accused you of being.
Unfortunately, my day to day experience seems to support my 100% generalization. I will now have to re-think my entire world view.

I was kinda just making a joke, I've watched wrestling a few times before and I've seen DDT make the symbol....but hell, a joke's a joke! People make Barry Manilow jokes all the time, no need to go jumping down there throats for it. Actually, one of the coolest (and pretty cute) girls I know is a huge wrestling fan.
I'm just a man with jokes...forgive me...

Substitute "homoerotic" for "gay", and "soap opera" for "porn", and remove the "for rednecks" part, and I've been saying that for years.
More seriously though, I don't get it, though I have watched, and even enjoyed watching, pro wrestling on occasion. If I'm going to watch anything like this, it won't be WWF/WWE/WCW/etc, but maybe sumos.
Apologies to ClubNinja, though I hope he at least finds my version of dissing his sport as less offensive...

No no, I'm not offended at all - but I do want to correct you on something. This is a big misconception, but professional wrestling is *not* a "sport". If you were to be dissing my "sport", then you'd have to attack hockey (but that's another story). When you say "soap opera", you've pretty much got it right. Wrestling is a soap opera where storylines are ultimately solved in simulated competative contests. I don't care for men grapling at each other, but I enjoy watching larger than life characters portray these storylines in equally over-the-top wrestling matches. This is not to say they're not athletic - they obviously are and I know I wouldn't want to mess with them in a bar fight - but that's why you don't see wrestling events covered in the sports section. It's entertainment - that's all. Not a sport. Think Rocky. That was a movie based on sport. Wrestling is just a weekly drama/comedy based on sport. If you view it that way, then it's no big deal.
I should point out that I don't want to try to defend wrestling as anything legit to folks who aren't that interested either way anyway. I just wanted to point out that there are many people who watch it only for what it's worth and nothing more.
And for Christian, I'm technically in a small town halfway between the two cities, so I take my pick when I decide to associate myself with a larger city ;)

What scares the hell out of me is that some people think it's real. x_x
Even scarier is teaching your kid how to play 'wrestler' with that toy. It takes the 'gay porn' angle I alluded to, and adds fuel to the fire. LOL

I don't much care about that game- actually it's really cool.
But the most important thing about this post is the excitement of camera phones- we can take pictures of all kinds of innane and disturbing things. I can't wait to get a camera phone.

Wow, and here I thought the age of Political Correctness was a time gone by. Just goes to show you that you cant say anything these days without SOMEONE taking offense. Even something so obviously meant to be a joke. Lighten up dude, jeez. I guess I cant mention how I think NASCAR is every rednecks favorite sport around here. hehe j/k.
