Mario Adventures creator does it again..If you haven't played the Mario Adventures rom by Dahrkdaiz, then you haven't been punished by the inexplicable amount of difficulty in puzzles and the grossly over exaggerated amount of enemies he puts into his levels. Then you probably haven't experienced a Mario game with weather changes, and time changes. And if you HAVE put yourself through the keyboard poundings of Mario Adventure, then I have something for you also. Super Luigi : The Red Coin Quest.
Here DarhkDaiz has once again spent months hacking and slashing at SMB3 to bring you a wholly new game. And this one actually is wholly new. Unlike Mario Advance, there is now an Oxygen meter for swimming, numerous item boxes, and as the title suggests, a new concept to completing the game. No longer just fighting to get to the end, now you must locate the Red Coin in each level to progress. Do not be weary though! The puzzles are more puzzling, but Dahrkdaiz has lifted his scourge of a milion enemies, bob-ombs and Bullet Bills. You don't have a patcher? Don't worry. Just like with Mario Adventures, I have already converted the file for you, and it can be downloaded as a .NES file from here.

Enjoy!

The only complaint on Super Luigi is that the Title screen still remains the same. :(

I felt the same way. Glad I'm not the only one. I hear a lot of bad things about Mario Adventure being too difficult, and am Afraid that it might turn people away from this game.

So, like I asked in the other thread, does every level in this one end with those dang Boom-Booms?

Nope. The levels end with you finding the red coin.

You're right about those Boom Booms though, I learned to keep a Fireplant in my Reserve to use at the end of the levels. 5 fireballs and he went DOWN!

Just played Mario's adventure, and damn it's one hard game! But fun!

A question, I keep dying but never once got a game over...unlimited lives? I hope so, cause this game needs it! Now, off to play until I choke myself again.

Yes.... LOL...The game has infinite lives.....and for very good reason. Haven't met a soul yet that disagrees with this.
