I went to Best Buy today. I saw a new video game system there for $70. I forgot the name of it. There were two games being sold for $50 each for it. One was bowling and the other one was tennis. The tennis one came with a special racquet, when you swing the racquet your player on the screen does too. The bowling one came with a special bowling ball.
The screenshots on the box actually looked like this could be really fun.
I was just on bestbuy.com, and there was no info about it at all.
Has anybody else seen this?

Yeah I've seen it cause we put them on the game table at work. I believe there is a base unit and then the two different games for it. I don't even remember what they're called or where you can get more info =\.

I'm holding out for a good golf sim, or something similar to Mazan. Either of those would be really sweet. The description on the box makes it sound like the CPU is actually on the cartridges. Whoo, set top Microvision. Ha ha.

I don't think I've seen what you're talking about, but am VERY curious about it... What section was it in? I was just at Best Buy the other night and I didn't see anything like that, but I wasn't looking too carefully either.

Saw it sitting out on a table at the front of the store. Seems as if they didn't really know where to put it. I'd almost balk at actually calling it a game system, it's a dedicated system at best from what I could gather. I personally wasn't too interested so that's all I got from it ...

I also saw this at Best Buy today too. There was a baseball game for it too where you got like a baseball bat controller. Just glanced at it, didn't really pay much attention.

I saw it in the PS2 section. Near the DDR mats. The tennis game actually looks fun. But, I wouldnt pay that much for it.

The thing we saw was definitely NOT the Radica Play TV line. It was a cartridge based set top box, and I can't remember the name of the company for the life of me. Heh. I seem to remember an X in the name of the console, though.

The BestBuy near me has many of these systems and stocks at least four of different sports games. It is a cartridge system and it looks pretty well-made. The system is around $70 and the games (each has an accessory like a bowling ball or baseball bat or tennis racket) are $40. The system is called Xanix and the website gametoys.com has them also. Anyone know more?
