In order to pay the bills, you have to sell everything. You can afford to keep 10 games. What would you keep? (Due to lack of funds, online gaming is not an option.)

My picks would be:
Final Fantasy 10
Skies of Arcadiia
Space Channel 5
Virtua Fighter 4
Banjo-Kazooie
Ratchet & Clank
Soul Edge/Blade
Dance Dance Konamix
Goldeneye
Nascar Heat - Dirt to Daytona

Final Fantasy Anthology
Final Fantasy Chronicles
FFX
Kingdom Hearts
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Brothers Melee
Spiderman 2

If I had to sell everything, I'd want to keep the games that have the most replay value and get rid of the games that'll get the most $$$ on the open market (so I can pay as many bills as possible). Thus traditional RPGs are out of it...but other than that I have no idea. I'd have to actually be in that situation to know. :)

This is a hard question, but I will try.

1. Suikoden 1 (PSX)
2. Suikoden 2 (PSX)
3. Suikoden 3 (PS2)
4. King's Field (PSX)
5. Bandit Kings of Ancient China (NES)
6. Mike Tyson's PunchOut! (NES)
7. Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES)
8. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (PS2)
9. Super Mario Brothers (NES)
10. Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES)

That is hard to number down just 10 games. There are so many that I wanted to include.

I'd probably just keep the games I originally had as a child, the rest would go, and I'm not sure what they'd be off hand.

Trouble is, if I needed money I would probably have to sell some of the games I would most want to keep.

I am thinking in particular of two Samba De Amigo box sets ... I don't even use them very often. But when the freinds come round and the beers come out, there is hardly a better game that I could imagine!

If we suppose that I make enough money selling everything else, I guess I'd keep :

Samba De Amigo (x 2)
Saturn Bomberman
Duke Nukem (only for the Death Tank Zwei bonus game!)
Metal Slug
Twinkle Star Sprites
Amplitude
Space Channel 5 Part 2
Wipeout 3 Special Edition
Toejam and Earl : Panic on Funkatron

I notice most people are keeping games from various systems...but if you needed the money, wouldn't you have to sell all but one system? Maybe they figure most of their systems wouldn't bring much money anyway, especially the NES's, SNES's, Dreamcasts, etc. Anyway, let's see what I can come up with...again, they'd have to be games with a lot of replay value that I would be willing to play again and again...

1. MVP Baseball 2004 (GC)
2. Super Metroid (SNES)
3. Soul Calibur (Dreamcast)
4. NFL 2K or 2K2 (Dreamcast)\
5. Super Punch-Out (SNES)
6. Namco Museum (the volume with Mappy) (Playstation)
7. Tempest 2000 (Jaguar)
8. Earthworm Jim (SNES)
9. Metroid Prime (GC)
10. Hot Shots Golf (Playstation)

I was going to name Halo but by not keeping it, I get to sell my XBox console for some added bucks :D

I don't even need to keep ten... I got a computer with enough roms.

Then I'd keep beatmania and pop'n music.

That's it.

Last time I lost my job, I sold off INTV games and rare 2600 games.

This time around, I'll keep everything and go on unemployment.

Honestly, if I sold even half my collection, i'd have a year's pay :) No need to sell all but 10 games. However, assuming I needed the full value of everything for some bizarre reason (black market kidney, etc), here's what I MIGHT keep:

Final Fantasy III (SNES)
Rock N' Roll Racing (SNES)
Warsong (Genesis)
Suikoden 2 (PSX)
Dynasty Warriors 3 or 4 (doesn't matter which) (PS2)
Soldier Blade (TG16)
Dr. Mario 64 (N64)
Image Fight 2 (Duo)
Dungeon Explorer II (Duo)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Xbox)

By the way, if I could, I'd probably put Metal Slug on the list, BUT I'd have to keep my MVS cab.... :)

ESPN 2K5
GTA 3

Final Fantasy Anthology
Final Fantasy Origins

So, all in all, Id be keeping 5 systems.
