I got this today (97p it cost LOL yeah i know it says £2.97 but the games were reduced down to 97p) but i need info on it as it obviously isnt a licensed one and it doesnt have megadrive or genesis on it anywhere and the box spine logo is so poor...
if anyone has any info on this please let me know!

Looks like a pirate to me. That's a pretty hack-jobbed version of the Genesis release. In the UK, the packaging should look completely different, so I think it's safe to say that's a pirate job.

Probably some homebrew pirate crap
Since most games in uk have an ELSPA or PEGI age rating but not sure if they rated games then but that is definatly a pirate
If its homebrew then i don't know but if its pirate worth nutin

Correct. Notice how the front has the ESRB logo? That's for the USA only.
Right there that gives it away. :)
Does the game seem to play okay?

game plays fine... cartridge seems a little loose/wobbly where its meant to be screwed together.... is it possible to use pirate carts as re-writable carts?

Yeah, that's definitely a boot. Probably worth what you paid :)

Most pirates are "worth" about $5-15US....so...well, I dunno, I've been known to pay quite a bit for certain rare pirate games, though.
You got a good deal, I'd say.
