I never tried the unreal series, i was playing quake 3 for awhile tho...then a friend at work convinced me to try the demo...i fell in love and ran out and bought it. anybody else play this game? i suck ass pretty much, but maybe we could play together sometimes.

i think 2k4 is great, much improved from 2k3. the game is hectic insanity. nothing beats a massive killing spree, so much fun.
haven't played in a bit though, been playing battlefield vietnam.

It's a pretty fun game...I'm not very good at it though, and I get tired of playing ons all the time, running from point to point endlessly. I like it a lot better than 2k3, with it's stupid adrenaline thing. PRESS UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT DOWN UP RIGHT TO ACTIVATE ADRENALINE!!!!

still has the adrenaline thing in 2k4
i think it's a decent reward for doing enough killing. doesn't really add too much to the game though.

I preferred the mods, the pacing, the levels, and the weapons of the original Unreal and Unreal Tournament. They haven't made a ThieveryUT for anything other than the original UT; this "release a game every year" is dumb. They should spend a long time on it and make it quality - which is something that Unreal 2, for example, was not.
