Recently I finally acquired a Saturn game I was looking to get for a long time, but it was never a main priority. I hadn't even play the games much in the past, but the chance to have all 3 of them on one disc was too much to pass up on.

Capcom Generation 2.

Ghosts N Goblins, Ghouls N Ghosts, Super Ghouls N Ghosts.

These 3 classics from Capcom... I sat down to play them and I was stuck on playing all 3 games for a long time. No matter how hard it got (VERY hard, mind you) I kept playing and I *loved* every second of it. I haven't had that much fun with gaming in forever. In fact, I dare say it "woke up my gaming domancy." (if that last word is a real word, lol)

I know those old games have somewhat clunky controls and outdated visuals, but it is strangely outlandishly tremendous fun! I just went out and purchased Maximo: Ghosts to Glory for the PS2 today for $7.99.

I'd highly recommend Capcom Generation 2 to any avid Saturn fan.

Take it from ME Brother, that series is the greatest thing since Slice Cheese.

Capcom Generations Vol 2 is my top ten on the best games ever.

Yet I felt the port of Super GnG was sluggish at times..but I will say, the best port of Ghouls N' Ghosts and Ghosts N' Goblins to date

I cannot wait to get my hands on GHOULS N' GHOSTS Online for Xbox next year...

Also, I'll be watching out for CAPCOM TV GAMES from www.jakksgames.com a nice little plug and play TV game which include 5 great Capcom classic as followed:

1942, Side Arms, Gun Smoke, Ghosts N' Goblins, and MEGA MAN 1

I love Maximo and I still have the original 5 foot tall Cardboard Standee when the game was announced lol

Much as it's nice to have them all on one disc, I was REALLY disappointed with Capcom Generation 3. I got the Saturn version myself fairly recently, and frankly, it just doesn't hold up. The biggest beef I had (as with all the Generations games) is the compressed screen thing. Why do that on a console game? When I can drop in the SNES version at will, or the Genesis one, I don't need a compressed screen Saturn version with alousy right justified border. Bah. Just not nearly as good as it's cracked up to be. I'm only keeping it till I get the PCBs of the first two games...then it gets dumped.

I was more disappointed with the titles they chose to put on the CD. There were so many other I would of rather seen like 1941, Strider, Black Tiger etc.

Well, there's that too. Capcom Generations 3 was the most disappointing for me. I don't have ANY memories of ANY of those games. They're not bad, just not my style. I liked Gen 1, but it needed as you said, 1941. Gen 4 was ok as well.

the GnG series of games have always been one of my favorites, even the newer maximo games.i have the capcom generations 2 for saturn(jap import),ghost and goblins for nes, ghouls and ghost for genesis(the best genesis game around),and i have both maximo's for ps2.i got a stand-up displayer for maximo army of zin,and i have all the maximo figures that were released here.i love this series of games.i would love to get a soundtrack cd of ghouls and ghost, but i dont know if one was ever made.

Did any of you guys ever pick up the Capcom Generations for the Playstation? I imported three of them, 1942, GnG, and Commando I think. I thought they were all pretty enjoyable at the time.

GnG is such a great series! I love the difficulty of those games, as they're insanely challenging but not frustrating for some reason. I can't even beat the first level in Ghosts 'n goblins, but I can get up to 3-1 in super ghouls 'n ghosts.

I never got the PSX ones but I've owned all the Saturn ones at one time or another and tere more or less the same. I'd still like toknow how they decided on the titles for Capcom Generations 3. Most of those games I did play at one time back in the arcades or NES.
