Maybe i'm behind the times a little bit and this is already been said. But i just got my new GMR mag in the mail today, and flipping through the pages, they have a link to digitpress. It's on page 101 of the September issue with San Andreas on the cover. I thought it was cool that they were talking about DigitPress and our "handy online Rarity guide." I'm proud to say to the rest of the world, "hey, i knew about them first before the rest of you GMRers did."
Besides, we may get some more to register for the forums, and that means more video game sales :)

I don't see how it's going to mean more video game sales either.

I do. He's referring to the Buying & Selling forums. See?
The irony here is that the magazine is referring to the spiffy online database which, as the magazine hits press, is offline. :o

Got my issue yesterday and was reading that stupid article telling me how to sell my games and recommended EB of course for trade ins and then saw it referenced DP. Kind of cringed a little bit but I'm sure it'll be nice publicity for the site. Ugh, only two issues left before it ends....

What rotten luck...not like the link was in Rolling Stone or Time or something, but it's such a cool feature of the site to have people miss out on because it's down for the first time.

If money means anything to people, which we all know it does...people will come back to the link and try again. Because if you can get more for your games here than in the stores, wouldn't you to try it again? But yeah, thought it was neat that DP was mentioned in there. That means you guys are doing lots of things right...next stop, EGM! :P

Am I just oblivious? I see no reference to EB anywhere at all in the posted article.
All I see is that if your game is in crappy condition you're somtimes better off trading it in, if its mint, youre better off using eBay.

We've already been in EGM! In fact, I even wrote a column for them about a year ago.
@Daryll: I'd be happy to host it. Can you send it to me at digitalpress@email.com ? Groovy.

The link could lead to more n00bs (well I'm a n00b here too) and possibly, volatile folks who have no idea of forum etiquette.
On the other hand, it could bring people who are actually dedicated to games in general. That's never a negative thing.
Yeah I read the article yesterday. Seems like pretty basic knowlage to me.
And as far as publistiy goes, I wouldn't mind new people to the forum. But GMR seems to bash older games more then most mags. Hell there retro section only goes as far back as the psx. So I'm a bit worried about there readers not caring for older games. Oh well here's hoping for the best.
