I recently bought the Kirby Tilt and Tumble game for cheap, and I noticed something odd. Kirby always wants to roll forward, and you have to tip the game boy pretty far back to get him to stop. Left and right act as expected. Also, tipping the Game Boy forward barely, if at all, speeds him up. Is this normal for this game? I didnt get an instruction manual. And yes, I did level the game at the beginning by setting it on a table, so I know its not that.

I use an old SNES cleaning kit to clean all of my cartridges, but that is wearing out. I know I can use Q-tips. My question is, do you use alcohol with the Q-tips, and if so, what type of alcohol. Im afraid of using the wrong type, because NES games specifically say to NOT clean with alcohol. I imagine It could react with the plastic or something, I just want to be sure.

well you could use alcohol but reason why it says dont use alcohol is cause normal alcohol (the one you drink) contain water witch is BAD for you console and games hence its conductive. still you could use it as an option if you only try it up once youve rubbed it on the cart pins. recommended alcohol is ISOPROPANOL (or whatever its called in the US) :D

I believe the warning is intended to mean rubbing alcohol, rather than stuff you would drink. It also has some water in it, but as long as you use smething to dry it after I've had no problems at all and it does a great job.
