Doing an article about great/classic games not given a PAL release but did come out in either US or Japan. Anyone got good suggestions for the following systems?
NES/Famicom
Master System
Dreamcast
PS1

The only US SMS games that weren't released in Europe were Alf, Great Ice Hockey & Sports Pad Football. Nothing to write home about there.
There's a few Jap-only Mark III games, but they use different size carts and won't play on a PAL/US system anyway.
There's a whole bunch of great Dreamcast games that didn't make it over here - Typing of the Dead, Seaman, Space Channel 5 pt2, Bomberman Online, Alien Front Online, all the recent(ish) Jap shooters, etc..

I'm currently picking Samba 2000 at the mo for DC despite the fact the original did come out here. Might change that. Space Channel Part 2 did actually get an Australian release I believe, so it is available on PAL. Seeing as I'm only allowing myself one game per format currently, then it has to be THE best overall choice :)

Fair enough - the Australian SC5pt2 was the PS2 version though, rather than the DC one.

You could list probably most RPGS for the PS1 that got released in the US but not on PAL format. Wasn't there like maybe 6 or 7 RPGs that got released over there?

Cheers for that... as said I'm looking to pick ONE title for each system possibly that I listed, so it needs to be THE best possibly that didn't come out here in the UK :)

Are Brazilian TecToy games OK for the Master System, then? There's a whole bunch of those...
