When I was in Grammer School going on to the 6th grade and the school year was starting I remember sitting in class by myself not really having any friends but with my new Issue of nintendo power magazine. I started to look at it when I noticed a kid siting in front of me and ask if that was the new nintendo magazine and I said it sure is well after giving him the magazine to look it our conversation turned to what I guess every kid would ask one another. " So Franky I asked what games do you have for your Nes" Well to make a long storie short he only had one game he had Karate Kid. I had yet to play this game so we made a deal to exchange games for a few days and he lent me Karate kid and I lent him Kung Fu. It was that nintendo bond that had made me a long life friend for life. To this day we continue to make gaming one of our great social activities.

Thanks

What a great topic.

I've made numerous life friends, including many people from these very forums! People I chat with and meet in "real life" on a regular basis include CX2K (my homey John Hardie), punkoffgirl (Jaime), Rolenta (Len), superstonic (Scott), portnoyd (Dave W), retrogmr (Larry), and Arcade Antics (Dave G). And this is in addition so some close friends who don't "do" forums but are very much into gaming and who I've met as a result of my "addiction".

When I graduated to 7th grade I started at a private shcool. I knew no one there or in my class. I met my friend Greg there in 1989 and we pretty much hit it off talking about gaming and electronic stuff. We've been friends since then.
