I've had a Saturn kicking around for a while, and I'm getting an S-Video cable soon. That said, I don't have anything to play on it. So... what would you recommend for a first game, something besides an RPG or fighting game, that wouldn't break the bank?
Thanks!

Thanks. I actually forgot about those, somehow. Prolly Zwei, since I have Orta on my EcksBocks.

A 4-in-1 isn't a bad purchase either. :)

XD, yeah. It's not so much paying for that one game as much as that I could get five for its price. I'm gonna get Nights first, it's on ebay dirt cheap with the 3d controller. I'll check out all the other games you guys mentioned too, aside from Virtua Cop 2 since it's in the Sega Smash Pack.
Thanks a bunch!

Nights is a definite must-buy. There's nothing quite like it. and Galactic Attack and Darius Gaiden are two great dirt-cheap shooters.

I know you said no RPGs but maybe in case you were just afraid they were all $100 a piece you could try Mystaria/Blazing Heroes at $20 it's a very reasonably priced Sega Saturn Tactical RPG.

Nah, just not an RPG fan. Although tactical/strategy/Disgaea RPGs are usually fun.

I was going to recommend Nights, but it seems that the entire population of DP has beaten me to it. But I don't think anyone has mentioned that you will really want the 3D joypad to go with it - it's playable with the standard pad, but it's not 1/10th of the full experience... Enjoy ;)

Seconded. This game is among the most underrated, undiscovered gems available on the Saturn. :)
If you're into light gun games, go get Virtua Cop and Virtua Cop 2 NOW. Inexpensive and awesome games.
Finally, if you're into Final Fight styled games, Die Hard Arcade rocks the house.

Just get an import one. It's not like the dialogue in the US one makes that much sense anyway.
