We'll it seems the "buy 3 or more pre-NextGen games, get them all at half price" sale has ended at the 2 Milwaukee Videogame Exchanges...only to be replaced by a sale that is both better and worse all at the same time.

Seems that all of the "good" (ie: rare, fun or popular) games have been moved to the Highway 100/Beloit Ave. store...no sale there. The "other" (ie: common, boring, or cart-only for the most part) games have been massed at the 27th St. store...most of these ARE on sale:

Cart-only SNES, Genesis, NES, SMS, 2600....$1.00 each

Boxed SNES, GENESIS, 32X, NES, SMS, SegaCD, Game Gear & Saturn...5/$10.00

Boxed Genesis Sports titles....$1.00 each

DVDs...$5.00 each VHS Tapes.....5/$10.00

You're not going to find any gems there (I got those already :D ) but there are a fair number of good hole-fillers left, priced right.

I filled a bunch of Genesis, SegaCD & Saturn holes in my collections...still a good (if you can call it that) selection of SegaCD, Saturn, Genesis Sports & loose NES titles there. May post some of what I got later, but wanted to get this notice up tonight for my fellow cheeseheads.

Good Hunting!

What "gems" have you got from the place?

What "gems" have you got from the place?

This is the store where I found my StarFox Super Weekend Cart...but from this particular sale:

For $1.00 each (all loose)

SNES Sim Ant
SNES Arcade Hits - Atari
Game Gear Chessmaster
Game Gear Outrun
Game Gear Wonder Boy

For $2.00 each (all complete)

Genesis Art Alive
Genesis Power Monger
SNES Kirby's Avalanche
SNES Whizz

Nothing spectacular...but not bad for the price. Anybody else check out this sale?

Off topic but... Does anyone else think the SNES game Whizz is messed up? A rabbit running around with a top hat eating mushrooms flying around in a hot air balloon. I'd like to know what the programmers were on when they made this game.

I always hit up the hwy 100 VgExchange, and well, their previous sale was pretty good. I'll have to check out the 27th street one this week for sure, where exactly is it? I'm surprised I haven't stumbled upon that one yet, I've driven around there so many times.

I hit the Menomonee Falls one that USED to be a VGE today that is now an independent store...

just bought 3 cheapass titles and traded them to EB for 2 brand new Platinum Hits titles which I will shortly return to put a $40 preorder on something. Not sure what. $24 for $40, not bad lol

Ah, MovieMan's. Good place, the guy there is pretty nice. Last time I was there, I traded in a few VHS movies and he gave me Doom 32x CIB and MetalHead CIB.

His selection isn't awesome, but, sometimes you can find some snazzy stuff there.

Is it just me or is he THE "Comic-Store-Guy" from Simpsons? Minus the sarcasm of course hehe.

Yeah I thought he was really nice. He's gonna be on the lookout for a Sega CD or Saturn if one passes his way.

Hey did anybody who stopped at S 27th or S 108th see a Sega CD or Saturn there?

Take 2 has a Saturn, probably for $40 bucks though
