Mods, PLEASE keep this in the main forum for a little while. A sticky would be fantastic, but that might be pushing it...

This weekend (6th, 7th, and 8th) I'm going to set up shop at Uncle Bob's Trade Center in Westland. It's at the Merriman & Ann Arbor Trail. They've only been open for a few weeks, so I'm hoping to come in there and be THE video game guy. I'm not sure how long I'll stay there if this week doesn't go well, but it looks like I'll definitely be there at least this week.

I'm gonna be bring a whole lot of good stuff. R5,R6,and R7 Genny games, 60 complete DC games, over 100 complete PS1 games, over 100 snes games, probably 200 nes games, included many boxed and complete. If you're in the area, PLEASE come and support me in this little endeavor. I'm hoping that with this weeks profits I'll be able to buy some showcases.

I'll probably be wearing a Boston Red Sox hat. Don't know exactly where in the place they'll set me up just yet. Just keep an eye out. Please mention if you're from Digital Press. There are probably going to be a box of games I'll be hiding from everybody else, so be sure to ask. I'll definitely hand out all sorts of random price breaks if I hear you're from here.

Please bump the thread if you can come. I'd like to see what kind of interest I'm getting.

Could you post the address if you know it? Depending on how far/close it is, I might be able to go. I know that a few DPers are going to be going to Marvins in Farmington Hills this Saturday, so if its on the way there, or not too far out of the way, I think I could make a pitstop before.

EDIT:
Guess I should use Google first, not after =P

I looked at a map, thats kinda out of the way of our little route, but I'll see what I can do.
That reminds me, why in the hell isnt there any place like this in Ann Arbor? It would do great in such a diverse town...

If you think of it, please mention this to some of the DP'ers at Marvin's. I probably should have posted this days ago, I'm kind of kicking myself for that. Hopefully enough people see this before Friday...

I don't have a list handy. If I had more time, I would have typed up that list and a few others for people, but all this pricing and lifting stuff has me worn out.

Here's a quick pic of what I'll probably be bringing tomorrow.

I don't even know if it will fit! LOL . If you see me, and you're interested in something specific, ask. I'll probably have just as many boxes behind the tables as I'll have on them. My pricing was pretty random for just about everything, I'll give discounts on most things, especially if you're from here. Be sure and let me know if you're from DP.

Man I wish I could go. California is too far away. Hey that blanket draped over that maroon recliner looks just like the blanket on the couch in the TV show "Roseanne". Thats awsome.

An address would be a huge help so we can Mapquest it.

Thanks!

31313 Ann Arbor Trail in Westland. They've only been a flea market for about a month now. Before that it was a grocery store or something. I'm not sure, but I assume if you looked up that address it would say Kroger's or something.

I'm bumping this for a great seller, knowledgable gamer, and all around nice person.

I dropped by today and walked off with 4 great games for a nice price.

He's got several platforms: Atari, NES, SNES, DC, PSX (w/quite a dozen or so longbox games!), PS2, XBox, Genny, Gamegear, GBC, and probably more.

He also has a boxed (maybe new?) Super 8 Convertor.

The place is kinda sparce right now, but he is located in the very back of the store.

I'll drop by again should he choose to make this thing permanent.

I stopped in today to check it out too. Mr. Hitman had a fine selection. I wish I'd had more cash on me (most went into machines at Marvin's last night) but I did pick up Enemy Zero for the Saturn and In the Hunt for PS1 which I'd been after for awhile. Good prices and both were complete. Next time I'm taking more jack so I can load up on some Genny games, he had a pretty damn large selection.

Make sure to post if you'll be there next week, if so I'm there.

I'll be there next weekend, I already paid my rent. I'll be bringing more systems this time. People were driving me crazy for 2600's, go figure.

Sales all around weren't so hot this week. The place was painfully slow. They haven't advertised like they should. They've only been advertising to dealers, not normal people. It's really tough just sitting for an hour and having nobody even stop at your booth. I'm planning on getting some signs made this week, and maybe even go to kinko's and make a huge Mario poster. Hopefully some signage, and some good word of mouth from this week will make it better than it was this time.

Thanks to Den, Sisko, and Cav for showing up. Everybody else, come next week pleeeeeeeeeeeeease LOL .

Just thought I'd bump this for the last time. I'm going to be there again Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My booth is all the way in the back. If you're interested in trading, I'm looking for working 2600 units complete with controllers and wires (could use a few), as well as n64, cube, xbox, and ps2 stuff. I've gotta make a profit on this stuff, so I can't give you the greatest deal you've ever had, but I will trade Castlevania Dracula X or a Super 8 for common Xbox games, most people wouldn't do that. Come out and see me!
