I like the game gear games...haven't played them in ages, they've just been sitting in my closet....and the random genesis games are an....odd....twist. Why didn't they just add the sonic saturn games and sonic cd? Yeah the saturn games aren't too great but why not add em?

Hmmm, hmmm, mmmmm, yep, no Sonic CD again. I have the GC one, but as a huge Sonic fan, I'll probably end up with this one too, but it still isn't what it could be. Sonic CD is needed on it, that game is just so well done. I can play that any second of the day.

I'm also kinda surprised they aren't including Sonic 2 or Sonic Triple Trouble for GameGear.

I mean if you're going to do a Sonic collection why not make it complete?

Do you guys asking for Sonic Jam from the Sega Saturn know what it is?

Dammit! STILL no Sonic CD - arguably the BEST Sonic game on any platform - and I include the recent modern stuff too. The PS2 (or any of the modern platforms) could handle this game beautifully. What gives? Other than the Sega CD and PC versions, this game is just ignored for any other platform. I figured the Sonic collection would HAVE to have this on it.

Dammit, yet again.

Well, I have an idea why it isn't being included. Oshima (forget his full name) was actually the supervisor of Sonic CD, he looked over the development of the game and not Naka. All the ideas of that game were his. Over the years, Oshima and Naka's relationship hadn't gotten any better. I don't know what exactly happened to Oshima now, but I'd guess that Naka doesn't want to include it because it's Oshima's work.

Just an idea

Aww, man....I was hoping they'd put Sonic CD on here too... :o

I saw the cutscenes for it on the GC Sonic Mega Collection and I've been wanting to play it ever since.

The burning question: will they add save support to the old Sonic games? If not, I probably won't bother. I just don't have the patience to play through Sonic games in one sitting.

Well I certainly grew up on Sonic as I got my Genesis for Christmas in '92.

I could imagine picking up this collection just for a bit of nostalgia. I really don't want to hook up my Genesis as I have so many systems hooked up already.

Does anyone else like Sonic Spinball? I enjoyed this game for hours upon hours and I believe I beat it once.

Sonic Jam on the Saturn has that feature.

A really sweet collection, even though I have most of the games on their original consoles.

I enjoyed Sonic Spinball.

No thanks. I have those extra games on Genesis, there's no spin dash in Sonic 1, and you can't save anywhere like in Sonic Jam. Maybe the GG games would be cool to play but not at full price.

Pass.

Hey they forgot those great Sonic and Tails games from the Pico! That's it, no sale.

Personally, I am getting a little tired of this as well. If you're going to make a "collection" I feel it should be complete. I don't want 4 our of 6 game gear games, 6 out of 8 genesis, etc etc. I feel they should put every Sonic game up until the Dreamcast on a disk....they know they can fit it, so why don't they? Do they really think holding 2 game gear games off the disk is going to make them sell another Sonic collection in the future? doubt it.

Wow great news for Sonic fans! I'd possibly get it myself! I wish they would port Sonic CD also! @_@

Pretty decent collection. The xbox version will be worth it to me since I don't have a Game Gear. It's too bad Sonic CD seems to be the redheaded stepchild. A whole generation will miss out unless they go classic.
